It’s hard to believe that the start of the 2018-2019 school year is underway! We are excited to announce that several of our health education e-learning courses have been completely revised and are ready for you and your students for this new school year. Mission: Health, a series of engaging programs for grades K-8 that teach students the importance of proper nutrition, physical activity, sleep and other healthy habits, including mindfulness, is now available as separate courses for grades 6, 7 and 8. As students navigate the course, they will learn important skills that will help them lead healthy lives, such as accessing valid information, decision making and goal setting.
In addition, the Mission: Health courses for 4th and 5th grades were completely updated for last school year, and both contain new content focusing on helping students maintain a healthy mind. Skills such as analyzing influences, accessing valid information and setting goals are also presented. Details for all of these revised courses can be found here.
In our bullying prevention track, all Act Now! courses (Kindergarten – 8th grade) are now compatible with iPads and other tablets, and in the nutrition and physical activity track, Mission: Health Kindergarten – 3rd grade courses will be iPad/other tablets compatible by the start of second semester.
