Teachers and counselors – are you looking for a fun and engaging e-learning health course to help your fourth grade students during this challenging time? Healthy Minds 4th Grade, the second in our series of e-learning courses focusing on mental and emotional health, is now available and is a perfect way to add important health curriculum to your virtual classroom while schools are closed and you are teaching remotely.
In this engaging program, students will learn what makes a healthy mind, the importance of expressing and dealing with their feelings in a healthy way, how to manage stress and practice mindfulness, and discover other healthy habits that can improve their mental and emotional health. As students navigate through the course, they will learn different skills that help them lead healthy lives, including setting goals and communicating effectively. Students will also enjoy a "Healthy Minds" song and two fun games that reinforce what they've learned.
The program aligns with National Health Education Standards and Wisconsin State Health Education Standards and is a great way to include mental and emotional health in your students’ learning from home plan. You will be able to track their progress in the course, and pre- and post-tests allow you to see your students' knowledge and comprehension as they move through the course. Read the course objectives and more about using Healthy Minds with your 4th grade students on the Healthy Minds 4th Grade page.
