The new school year is right around the corner, and we’re excited to announce that the Children’s e-Learning Center is now open for you to register for our e-learning courses! There are just a few important reminders and updates to keep in mind before you register.
If you created an e-Learning Center account previously, your username and password remain the same, and you can log in at the e-Learning Center. Your username is your email address, and if you’ve forgotten your password, there is a link to reset it. If you will be a new user of Children’s e-learning, fill out our Contact Us form for more information and for help in setting up an e-Learning account.
New this year! Third grade courses for Act Now!, Healthy Minds, and Mission: Health are now formatted for students to log in and access the courses individually. As you register, be sure to check the box for student usernames and passwords when you are creating a classroom for 3rd grade. Courses for grades K-2 and the three Safety Ranger Academy courses remain designed for teacher or counselor-led whole group lessons on an interactive whiteboard.
The Learning Management System (LMS) has a new look! While functionality remains the same, it has been updated to make it more user friendly. The course menu now includes all online and offline material, including links, in the order presented in the course. The teacher’s guide, course information, additional resources, and the gradebook are found in the left-hand column.
Finally, all of Children’s e-learning courses remain free to all Wisconsin educators. For the access code to receive the 100% discount, please contact your e-learning representative, or email HealthyKids@childrenswi.org.
